Bangkok shop Karen Collection Fair
If you live in Bangkok, don't miss our Karen Collection Fair in the Bangkok shop, running from Oct 25th - Nov 14th. We continue to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Bangkok shop with a new collection featuring Karen blouse fabric. The textile for the Karen blouse is woven by Karen women on backstrap looms and is a skill handed down from mother to daughter.
The collection includes wall hangings, bags, cushions and more and will be 10% off for members.
Other special events include a demonstration of traditional backstrap weaving at the Bangkok shop on Wednesdays 10.30 - 12.00 (25th Oct, 1st Nov, 8th Nov) and the opportunity to try embroidery with Job's tears seeds. Kits for making coasters using this embroidery technique will also be available for sale in the shop.
