Handwoven basket made from bamboo. The base of this basket is the same as the traditional Karen all-purpose basket, which is often used for carrying rice and other produce from the farm. For this basket, we have added a decorative handle using monkey ladder vine.
The basket has been smoked, waxed and polished to add extra patina and depth of hue.
